Birth hormones and exhaustion naturally makes us forget a lot of the experience, and just like a wedding, a birth is a day you want to remember for the rest of your life. I will capture your journey, the different phases, your partners touch and support, your embrace, and finally you looking in to the eyes of your sweet baby, counting the toes and smelling the neck.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer payment plans?
I do offer payment plans! It is a great thing to add to you registry instead of another diaper cake :)
Do you offer newborn photography?
Yes! I also offer lifestyle newborn, and family photography and we can work up a package deal.
How graphic will my photos be?
As much or little as you want them to be, some people want me to capture only the labor support and the baby, and others want me to capture all the details. We will go over this carefully before your labor.
What does it mean to be on call? When would you begin photographing my labor?
I am on call 24/7 from week 38 and I plan to be with you when you enter the phase of active labor. If your care provider is doing cervical checks - I usually like to be with you from 6 centimeters onward. I will be in touch with you, your partner or birth supporter to determine when it is time!
How long do you stay after the baby is born?
I stay and document the bonding, baby’s first exam, and introductions to family and friends who are at the birth place. This is generally around 2 hours after delivery. If you want me to stay longer, we can arrange for that too!
Do you share every birth on social media?
I love social media but will ONLY share what you allow me to. Nothing will be shared without your approval.
What is your pricing?
Anything from $500 - $1400. Let me know what you are looking for and we will find a perfect match.
You sound cool, but I want to feel your energy.
Of course you want to meet the one you are inviting in to your birth space! I want to meet you too! I want you to feel completely comfortable with me and the energy I bring. Let's grab a coffee, or decaf herbal tea :)
